Meet the Team
Kirsty RoseOperations Director×
Having trained at the Oxford Media & Business School, Kirsty has spent the past decade working in various sectors including charity/not-for-profit, public and corporate. Joining Property Frontiers in January 2015, after three years as EA to the Director of Strategy & Planning in the NHS, Kirsty acts as the right hand person to Ray. She wears many hats within the office but aims to ensure Ray is as effective as possible and to keep him on schedule… not always an easy thing.
Away from the office, Kirsty enjoys hanging out with her family, reading and going shopping. She also likes to bake to relax… although we are still waiting to see the results!

Ray WithersChief Executive / Co-Founder×
Chief Executive / Co-Founder
Ray studied Business and Engineering at Warwick University, and worked in London before moving into Management Consultancy (which brought him to Oxford). Ray founded Property Frontiers in 2004, and is still heavily involved in the overall strategy of the business and ensures we continue to pioneer our product and services and maintain our reputation as leaders in the market.
Ray is focused on developing three key attributes at Property Frontiers: that we pioneer the very best and most innovative property investments, create wealth for all our stakeholders, and build a reputation in the industry for doing both of these properly, over and over again.
Ray co-authored the best-selling property investment guide "Where to buy property abroad" and was a founding member of the AIPP (Association of International Property Professionals) and sat on the Board for several years. The AIPP aims to self-regulate and bring greater professionalism into the industry. Ray is also Founder, Trustee and keen supporter of the Frontiers Foundation and has been directly involved with many of its projects.
When Ray isn't working or travelling (which isn't very often), he relaxes by watching rugby and motorsport and spending time with his growing family. Rumour has it that he's learning how to fly too - but we don't think it's a good idea to clip his wings too soon.

Paul AveryHead of Research×
Head of Research
Paul graduated with MA (Hons) in English and Classics from the University of St Andrews. He then went on to study for a masters in Comparative Literature at Utrecht University in the Netherlands, during which time he also spent a term at the University of California: Los Angeles.
He has always had an interest in property, working in a PR company for sustainable buildings after university. Well-equipped after his studies Paul also acted as a ghost writer for a book about sustainable house building and edited a book about the Portuguese modernist poet, Fernando Pessoa. Realising his passion for travel, Paul then moved to Swaziland, a landlocked country in between South Africa and Mozambique, where he laboured on a building site.
Following this he moved to New York with his partner and worked in an independent bookshop. Well-read and well-travelled he has now settled in Oxford, as our Global Research Analyst. When he’s out of the office Paul reads a lot of books, plays racket sports and cooks a mean curry.

Sonia graduated with a degree in Business Economics from Liverpool University. After graduating, she relocated to North America and worked for a multinational commercial real estate company. Following a quick promotion and huge success Sonia then managed the office and clients’ portfolios of property where she advised individuals on tailored strategies to meet their investment goals. Sonia brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team here at Property Frontiers.
A big sports fanatic, when she’s not at the office Sonia can be found on the golf course, in the gym or watching a game of tennis. She enjoys a good pasta, fine wine and a spot of clay pigeon shooting in the great British countryside.
