In Birmingham, targets have been set for more new homes to be built in and around the city. Labour MP Owen Smith publicized to produce over 25,000 homes in the area each year if he were to be voted into power.

In recent years, Birmingham has come under pressure from Manchester as England’s second city, but a range of regeneration projects and high-quality new homes is keeping it ahead.
