Oxford commuters to benefit from high-speed rail link

Oxford is positioned as a great location for commuters, being just one hour from London and Birmingham. The new high-speed rail link, Oxford Parkway, which opened in 2015, has helped to stimulate the demand for houses. Commuters can get to London Marylebone is just under an hour.

There are some excellent leisure activities to par take in the area, including an ice rink in Oxpens Road and several theatres.  There are 7 parks, including the University Park containing seven large Giant Sequoia trees. There are green fields surrounding  the town, ideal for long dog walks and running.

There is a multitude of schools from both public and private establishments, including East Oxford Primary School, Oxford Spires Academy and leading independents St Edwards School and Headington School.
