Expanding Frontiers: Welcoming David Ball, Sales Manager
April 23, 2013Article by Ray Withers
As any business owner will know, the key to success is down to your team. Having the most capable people in their field around you is essential to thrive and that is why I personally take such an interest in recruiting only the very best to join our team here at Property Frontiers.
I am therefore delighted to welcome David Ball to the company in the role of Sales Manager.
A true expert in the international investment arena with over 7 years hands-on experience having run his own property company, David heads up the Sales Team here in our Oxford Head Office.
Determined to propel Property Frontiers onwards and upwards in 2013 and beyond, David will not only be working with our superb Investment Consultants but also across other sectors of the business to ensure that we continue to offer award-winning customer service.
But enough about David from me, let’s hear from the man himself
What does it say on your business card?
Sales Manager at Property Frontiers.
How long have you been working in the international property arena?
For 7 years now, I started back in the boom times of 2006.
How do you view the international property market at present?
It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity to get in when prices are low and yields are high. We are already passed the very bottom of the cycle in most markets but it’s not too late to benefit from the recovery across the globe. On top of that, many of the less reputable companies have been weeded out of the marketplace during the recession, leaving only the developers and agents with solid businesses, financing and loyal clients like Property Frontiers.
What are your goals in your new role at Property Frontiers?
To help deliver the most compelling property investments in the marketplace together with world class customer service.
What single piece of advice would you give potential investors?
Focus on the security of your money. This means don’t pay any agency fees upfront unless they are held in secure accounts, and always ask for and check references.
If you had £100,000, where and what would you invest in?
I’m a strong advocate of having a diversified portfolio with a mix of locations and perceived risks. I believe Property Frontiers offers this mix with low risk, fixed returns in our US Structured Investment, blue chip locations in Europe such as Germany with 10 year leaseback agreements, and cutting edge investments with a team that delivers in the form of our biomass product coming soon.
What do you like to do after hours /out of the office?
I’m training for an Ironman Triathlon event in 2014 so if I’m not doing that I’ll be spending time with my family ideally doing outdoorsy stuff such as walking, cycling – anything that gets us out and about and active.
