Full steam ahead as construction progresses at Archer House, Stockport

For many of our clients looking to purchase an investment property, the fact that there is an existing building already in place and refurbishment works are imminent offers a great deal of comfort and security.
This was very much the case at Archer House, the conversion of a commercial property into high specification residential apartments in the business district of Stockport, just 7 miles from Greater Manchester.
Not only are these types of permitted development rights (PDR) opportunities in high demand, they also prove highly lucrative for investors due to the swift development time and hence faster ability to produce returns.
A number of savvy Property Frontiers clients picked up on this rare opportunity earlier this summer and now I’m delighted to be able to share the latest construction news.
Developers have been on site for a number of months now with considerable progress achieved.
The initial internal strip out of the former commercial building has now been completed and partitions for each residential unit fitted.
The third and fourth floors are now entering the second fix stage with the high quality kitchens and bathrooms being installed shortly.
Large windows have also now been fitted on the top floor, wrapping around the entire building, letting in maximum daylight and giving superb panoramic views across Stockport and beyond.
