Last week I made the 340 mile round trip from PF Towers in Oxford to Liverpool, home of our outstanding student accommodation projects and our latest UK B2L offering, Candia Tower.
My first stop was at Victoria Court, another one of the superb student accommodation projects under construction by our experienced partners on Liverpool. Progress was very impressive and it will be opening its doors to LILA (Liverpool International Language Academy) tenants this weekend meaning investors will be due to receive their income very soon.
Seeing the works once again reassured me of the high standard, speed and attention to detail being delivered and also of the seemingly insatiable demand for rental property within the city.
With this in mind, I then visited Candia Tower, our latest residential B2L investment opportunity available at £21,000 below RICS valuation.
The location of the 3 bedroom refurbished apartments was impressive with views out towards the Liver building and docks. With 10% NET yield, these units have already proved popular with investors and only a handful of apartments remain for £69,000.
Witnessing the speed at which these apartments have been selling isa clear sign to me that the UK B2L market is alive and well, 15 years on from its official inception and I would urge any interested investors to act now to make sure they don’t miss out.
