It’s time to add a little spice to your Christmas
October 31, 2012Article by Ray Withers
It’s that time of year again. The clocks have gone back and a long, cold winter is on the way however with news that the luxurious Cinnamon Suites at Bacolet Bay in Grenada will soon be under construction, it’s time to starting thinking about spicing up your Christmas!
As a member of the development team of the 5* Bacolet Bay Beach Resort, I have been lucky enough to visit the Caribbean ‘spice island’ many times but one trip does stand out for me.
My wife and I decided to spend Christmas in Grenada a few years ago and from the very first moment we stepped off the plane, we were overwhelmed by the jubilant welcome from the local people, not to mention the glorious weather.
Grenada in winter? Think sun, sea, sand, and rum cocktails!
We were both delighted and relieved to escape the thermals and snow for Christmas on the beach in this lavish hotspot. It was quite an experience to escape the crowded British high street for smiling and relaxed faces eager to celebrate in style. Many parts of the island are famous for their Christmas lights and decorations and it was a memorable sight to behold.
Christmas Day itself on the beach was unforgettable. We relaxed in the glorious sunshine, took a dip in the turquoise waters, drank wine and listened to the fantastic Christmas music Grenada style, so think gospel and steel bands not carol singers and Top of the Pops!
We had such a wonderful time and loved Grenada so much in fact that we are planning our next trip to the island in February 2013 to spend some time with friends as well as check on the progress of the Cinnamon Suites construction.
Having been integrally involved in the design and positioning of the spacious new hotel suites, I’m not only eagerly anticipating their completion in Q3 2013 but also looking forward to being a guest at Bacolet Bay next Christmas.
Occupying a prime position on one of the highest points of Bacolet Bay Beach Resort, the Cinnamon Suites have attracted considerable client interest due to the superb sea views and interiors crafted by a world class designer, not to mention the free luxury furniture package worth $35,000!
The perfect lifestyle investment, the Cinnamon Suites, are available at 30% below independent real estate valuation and offer an attractive average projected NET yield of 10.5% per annum over 8 years plus 4 weeks personal usage (one in high season).
