No it’s not a desperate plea for befriendment but relates more to the interesting results of a survey I read recently on the online independent travel agency sunshine.co.uk which stated that over half (54% in fact) of British holidaymakers used social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter to get personal recommendations and reviews before they embarked upon their holidays.
It made me realize just how powerful personal recommendation and word of mouth is, not only to prospective holidaymakers but any consumer considering a purchase or investment.. property included.
Here at Property Frontiers, due to our client centric approach I’d like to think that we enjoy a highly regarded reputation with many of our clients giving positive feedback.
We have a rapidly growing online community of clients, some 370 Friends on Facebook and the same number following our daily Tweets, who feel at ease to share their experiences of investing in property. We’ve also got Linkedin and are finding social media invaluable in getting the news out there about what we are doing in the office, new products, special offers and or course, our renowned market insight.
So, with the pace of life showing no sign of slowing down and as we demand ever quicker and easier access to information by which to make decisions, it is clear in my mind at least, that social media will be a key way in which we communicate with our customers in real time and allow you and others to see what we are doing more clearly and immediately!
