Property Frontiers named Best Large Agent for the 4th year running

April 15, 2013Article by Ray Withers

It’s been a rather positive week in the overseas property industry. We had the inaugural AIPP conference and awards ceremony mid-week which saw members gathering to share ideas and experiences as well as learning from movers and shakers in other industries as diverse as printing (Webmart) and chocolate (Green & Black).

The event held in London even welcomed ‘The Secret Millionaire’ Kevin Green and his larger-than-life approach to property investment and ownership. I certainly took away a few pointers and it’s always refreshing to hear how people in other industries have built their businesses.

What was not so pleasant to hear however was the news that two large developments, one in Morocco and one in the Caribbean, are in trouble. Whilst of course nothing in life in 100% guaranteed and buying any property, be it your family home or a second home or investment, contains risk, it was disappointing to read about these failures not least because of the negative implications for these buyers.

Reading stories like this makes me an even bigger advocate for accountability and independent assessment of companies in this industry, something which the AIPP and its annual awards strive for.

As a Founder Member of the AIPP, those that know me will know that I am passionate about making our industry better. Holding ourselves here at Property Frontiers and our Member peers to the highest account in terms of professionalism, transparency and customer service, myself and the other Board Members work hard to set new standards.

One initiative that acknowledges the best in the business as well as providing reassurance for potential buyers is the annual AIPP Awards which rewards the hard work that companies put in year-round to be exemplary, and that is why I am so proud that Property Frontiers has been named by the AIPP as the Best Large Agent – Multi Country for the 4th year running. I would yet again like to thank our staff who all helped make this happen!

Presented by Board Member Robin Barrasford of Barrasford & Bird Worldwide and Jo Fairley, Co- Founder of Green & Black at the AIPP Conference last week, the award recognizes all the hard work and dedication the entire team at Property Frontiers put in – and for that I am hugely grateful. From sourcing the investment opportunities through to marketing and sales, project delivery and customer service (not to mention our other client services and charitable activities), every department has the best interests of our clients at heart and works tirelessly to make sure that Property Frontiers stands head and shoulders above the rest.

Of course we may have won this accolade four years in a row but the hard work doesn’t stop and we continue into 2013 with our ethos of acting as a regulated player in an unregulated market firmly in our minds.
