Brad And Angie Buy In To Portugal Property

July 17, 2009Article by Ray Withers

Visitors seeking Portugal property investment may rub shoulders with Hollywood superstars Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. The couple have just bought a villa complex near Lagos and hope to spend this summer in Portugal with their children – daughter Shiloh, two, twins Knox and Vivienne, 11 months, and adopted children Zahara, four, and sons Maddox, seven, and Pax, five.

Brad was due to start his new film ‘Moneyball’ in Mexico, put studios pulled the plug on shooting just four days before he was due to arrive.“Angie’s thrilled they’ll all be together after spending so much time apart recently,” said a family spokesman.

Anyone who wants to rub shoulders with the stars should consider a ‘no money down’ deal with 7% cash back on a new condo development on the outskirts of Lagos. Condominio-Panorama, is built high on hills overlooking the city and has wonderful views over the area and out to sea.

The newly released development is low risk for expats looking to retire or second homers as the flats are already completed and ready to move in, so there is no ‘off plan’ risk of the project halting. Prices start at £242,000 for two-bedroom apartments. Other larger properties include three-bed apartments, duplexes and penthouse suites.

Offered by UK international property consultants Property Frontiers, the development is new to the market.

Finishing touches include security systems, electric roller shutters and underground parking. Some apartments have balconies overlooking the sea.

“Whether you are buying for personal use or as a holiday rental, this is a rare opportunity in such a mature and secure market. It is also a market with prospects; as Europe’s baby boomers retire, the Algarve will continue to draw home buyers and tourists providing a solid basis for good long term rental and capital growth.” said Property Frontiers director David Cox.“Properties of this quality will be in high demand. As such I have no hesitations in recommending this as a great property investment opportunity.”
