Buffet’s Advice Gives Food For Thought

February 18, 2009Article by Ray Withers

If you are an investor looking for a new home for your money that gives a better return than banks and building society savings accounts, then follow billionaire Warren Buffet’s advice and look to buying land – because no one is making any more. Once the decision is made, you need to look for land that gives a better return than the measly rates offered on cash savings. Everyone’s current favourite is Brazil; home of the samba in the sunshine, carnival, and world cup football.
The advantages of investing in Brazil property include:

* Excellent returns in investment
* Good currency exchange rates
* A government crusading with anti-inflation policies
* Low cost of living
* A fast growing population and a shortage of good quality investment property
* Massive tourist infrastructure investment and promotion of Brazil as a tourist destination
* Easy access flights from the UK
