Cheap Carnival Cruises Set Sail In Brazil

January 19, 2009Article by Ray Withers

Carnival season is about to kick off in Brazil and for those who want to samba the night away, cruise lines are offering cheap party deals. Brazil is famous for the ‘Carnaval’ celebrations in Sao Paulo, Rio and most of the other big cities. Starting on February 21, the carnival season is the time to visit Brazil – with all the fun and thrills of the big parades, music and dancing.

Cruises start from Sao Paolo and sail up and down the coast of sandy, palm-fringed beaches, stopping off at a different place for a party every night, with cabin prices starting at £600 per person for an eight night cruise. Other shorter cruises are available from £265. Sao Paulo and Brazil are becoming real tourist rivals for Florida with the advent of cheap flights from Europe, a cheaper cost of living and 300 plus days of guaranteed sunshine throughout the year. The flying time to Brazil is about the same as to Miami from Europe.

Property in Brazil is rated as a good investment for people looking for cheap places to live by independent tax and lifestyle web site Shelter Offshore With the US property market in freefall, Brazil investment property is looking a better and better deal for all those families that are growing tired of Florida. Brazil property investors can pick up a studio flat for £74,950, plus one or two bedroom apartments for a top price of £86,791 in the Vision Condo Apartments, Sao Paulo, development offered by Property Frontiers. Property Frontiers is offering Sao Paulo real estate buyers a up to a 20% discount and predict a 9-14% investment return on the properties in the booming city.

The development is in the Sao Paulo suburb of Campo Belo that is popular with young professionals as it offers a high standard of living with a number of green spaces and the beautiful Ibirapuera Park. The area has lots of bars and restaurants and is a popular choice for a night out. Campo Belo is also near to the business districts of Itaim Bibi and Moema, making the suburb a convenient and fashionable place to live in the city. Although not connected to the metro system, plans are ready to extend a line to Campo Belo. This will increase the area’s desirability.
