Property Frontiers Announce Belize Property To Be Top Seller In H2 2010
January 26, 2010Article by Ray Withers
Belize property will be one of the biggest sellers in the second half of 2010, international property investment consultancy Property Frontiers has announced. The firm said this would happen as investors become less risk-averse and start to look for bigger returns after the economic fear has subsided further.
“Those currently buying overseas property are a risk averse bunch; most people are currently happy to settle for what would have been called a mediocre return in 2007, as long as the level of risk doesn’t make them baulk. However, this has already started to change; once again people are shopping around and exploring perhaps bigger risks for bigger rewards, although the focus is still very much on keeping the risk far lower than was considered acceptable in 2007.
“As the international recovery continues to build, and interest rates rise, returns will get better on cash savings. But inflation will also rise, and during that time while savings returns will rise, those who turn to property for better returns will realise that increasing the level of risk in their portfolio is necessary in order to achieve their aims. Luckily, at this time, because of the situation this realisation will drive them into investment rather than away from it.”
While Cox’s statements are bold to say the least, many will be forced to agree and the rest compelled to understand his confidence when they see the Belize property development currently being marketed by Property Frontiers.
The Cayo District nature reserve has so many unique and wonderful features that it is hard to choose the most important or the best. £20,000 for a half-acre land-plot anywhere is pretty special on its own. When you throw in the fact that it is set amidst tropical gardens, inside a nature reserve protected as part of a Belizean rainforest and the price tag becomes even more incredible. Add in the boutique hotel that the plots surround and you have an incredible deal.
But it doesn’t stop there. Buyers can have a fine villa built on every plot at cost price, which is £72k for a 1 bedroom, £84k for a 2 bedroom and £100k for a 3 bedroom. What’s more as a further incentive to build, those who do receive full rental management as an extension of what will surely become one of the most lucrative hotels in Belize as the world goes green. Oh, forgot to mention, this is a 100% carbon-neutral development.
